Breast Cancer Support Group
Designed for all women including those newly diagnosed. Meetings are facilitated by a oncology-certified registered nurse and often feature guest speakers. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month. Open to all area women.

Steppin' Up - Diabetes Self-Management Program
Dauterive Hospital's Steppin' Up Program is an American Diabetic Association-accredited program developed to provide the skills and knowledge to manage your diabetes. Program components include access to medical professionals, a support group, a quarterly newsletter, public lectures and more.

Childbirth Preparation
This class covers the physical and psychological changes experienced in pregnancy, labor terminology, signs of labor, relaxation techniques, pain management, labor and delivery, the post-partum period and newborn care. Childbirth partners are invited to attend. Participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch. Taught by a Lamaze-certified instructor at Dauterive Hospital, 600 N. Lewis Ave.

This class covers the advantages of breast feeding, proper nutrition, breast feeding techniques, pumping and storing breast milk and returning to work.
